Process variety is one of the strengths of Trützschler Nonwovens. Since 1996 this applies for instance to the AquaJet spunlacing unit. And since a decade the company offers not only one but several technical solutions for fiber preparation, web forming, web bonding, finishing, drying and winding.
Now Trützschler Nonwovens goes a step further in offering flexible production lines.
A combined spunlacing line for cotton pads and wipes
3 cards are needed to produce either cotton pads – 3-layer nonwovens with a structured surface – or single layer structured or perforated wipes. If the random, the airlay and the second random card are active, the results are cotton pads or multi-layer wipes. Omitting the second random card and/or the airlay card results in high-quality wipe material. The specially equipped AquaJet hydroentangles both cotton pads and wipes.
A flexible thermo- and chemical bonding line
This sophisticated line layout has an extended drying and curing zone including a can and a drum dryer as well as a hot flue. It allows thermo- as well as binder bonding of light-weight webs.
In the thermobonding process, the web directly enters the drum dryer after carding and then directly goes to the winder.
For chemical bonding firstly liquid binder is applied onto the web. Then it passes through the dryers and the curing zone before being wound up.
