The re-designed series features a modular design. Pre-built units significantly reduce erection and start-up times.
Main feature of the new series is an interim chamber which changes the airflow. The chamber is located between dryer and fan with heating system; it is the connection point for fresh and exhaust air.
The air sucked into the dryer drums is both loaded with water and is already cooled down after passing the wet web. It is extracted from the intermediate chamber before being re-hetaed by the heating system in the fan compartment. Heat loss is thus reduced by up to 30%.
In addition, the chamber serves as neutral interface to an energy recovery that can also be retrofitted later.
